Nairobi, Kenya: A section of Nairobians were thrilled by five American planes on a reconnaissance mission that made trips around the city before landing and taking off from Kenyatta University Grounds. The five, which included a chopper and four Boeing V-22 Osprey aircraft, first hovered over Nairobi before landing at KU grounds causing panic.

Officials said the pilots were on a drill and reconnaissance missions ahead of the arrival of the US president and his team on Friday. After landing, some students rushed to the field and took the photos before sharing them on social media. The green chopper and the four Osprey aircrafts later flew back to the Old JKIA airport where they were parked to wait for the arrival of the president.

Litein is a small town in the Kericho County, Kenya. It was previously the capital of the former Buret District. Litein has an urban population of 2,300.^[1] The town is along the Kericho-Sotik road. It also has a road link to Bomet.
Litein's name originated from the word "liteito" - a stone used for sharpening iron objects during the pre-colonial period.
It is one of the busiest town in South Rift region and is surrounded by other towns like Kapkatet (which is known as the Kipsigis headquoters) Koiwa, Boito, Mogogosiek, Kusumek, Chemosot and Cheborge shopping centres. It is situated about 32 km from Kericho town, along Kericho-Sotik-Kisii highway.

Valery Swope, 18, was abandoned and left for dead by her birth mother. She's led a hard life, but she just got into college and she's thanking the social workers and police officers who helped get her where she is today,
As an infant, Swope was found wrapped in plastic and left in an abandoned building in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood. She was rescued by police officer Robert Varley (pictured above), who was inspiration for her name; Varley brought her to a local hospital and the nurses there decided to call her "Valery" after the man who saved her.
Swope spent most of her life living with various relatives and between foster homes. When she was only 15, she went missing for months, living with men who allegedly abused her. "The experiences she has been through and the depths of her pain are what motion pictures are made from," said her guidance counselor, Megan Hannah. Swope counts Hannah, as well as various other caseworkers and social workers, among her biggest supporters. Varley proudly attended Swope's high school graduation, and he, among Hannah and the social workers she's worked with, were the first people Swope called when she found out she got into Cabrini College.
Swope said she wanted to speak with Philly.com because she wanted to inspire others. "I want people to read my story and say: 'Wow, she can still do it. Maybe I can do it too.'

The driver’s window is the only window that opens, at only 2.75 inches, so the driver can speak with secret service agents outside the vehicle.

Doors: The doors, which were seen both in photos of the vehicle leaked prior to Inauguration Day and afterwards on the finished product, are armour-plated and 8 inches thick–three inches thicker than President Bush’s limo doors. These doors are the same weight as a Boeing 757 cabin door. An additional safety feature includes steel overlaps between the seams to protect against bullets entering in the space between the doors and body.

Interior: The interior of Obama’s limo is rumoured to be completely sealed in case of a chemical attack. Another safety feature that may possibly be included on the car is a lock-safety mechanism that, in case of emergency, seals off the entire car similar to how a bank vault can be locked during a robbery.
